This summer, we packed up the Santa hat, hit the road in the RV, and spent time with dear friends—just what we needed.
For those of us who carry the spirit of Christmas year-round, summer offers something special: time to rest, reconnect, and recharge. It may not be sleigh rides and snow, but the glow of a campfire, the laughter of loved ones, and the stillness of a quiet morning can be just as magical.This month, we took a little break. We unplugged. We laughed around the campfire, wadded in creeks, and shared stories under the stars.One of our favorite stops was St. Charles, Missouri—a charming riverside town full of history, cobblestone streets, and Christmas spirit all year long.On our way to St. Charles we stayed at Bull Creek RV Park, highly recommend this place!
In those moments—quiet, joyful, ordinary ones—we were reminded of something Santa says all the time: “The best gift you can give is your time.”
The magic isn’t just in December. It’s in every moment you choose to be fully present.
As Santa and Mrs. Claus, we love the sparkle in children’s eyes, the joy of giving, and the wonder of the season. But the truth is—even Santa needs a break. Rest isn’t something we earn—it’s something we need. A rested Santa can
give more freely. A calm, centered spirit
can shine more brightly.
So this month, we invite you to pause. To take off your boots, sip something refreshing, and remember that presence—being truly present—is one of the greatest gifts of all.
