What is it about autumn that makes it so special? I’ve always loved living in a state where we get to experience all four distinct seasons. There’s something magical about watching one season slowly give way to the next, with autumn bringing in its crisp, cool weather. And, for some reason, as soon as that chill hits the air, I start craving all my favorite comfort foods—especially soup and Frito chili pie! Not to mention the irresistible pull of warm drinks like hot chocolate, apple cider, and of course, anything pumpkin spice.
This year, I’ve found my new autumn obsession: the Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s so delicious, and it’s the perfect companion for cozy autumn days.
For us, autumn also marks the start of a busy and exciting season. Santa is getting ready—polishing his boots, tweaking his suit, and preparing his beard and hair for the holiday magic ahead. The photo sessions have begun, and the energy is already building.
Typically, October weather in Oklahoma brings 70-degree days, but for this year’s photo shoot, we were greeted with highs in the 90s! It felt like we were in Hawaii, California, or Florida! Despite the heat, the excitement of the season carried us through. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the storms in Milton’s path. So scary. Lets all hold them in our thoughts for a safe outcome!
